Celebrate the Harvest at 2017 WRVH!

Local Food Alliance is proud to present the 3rd annual Wood River Valley HarvestFest – taking place on Saturday, September 16, 2017, from 3 t0 10pm!

The largest food festival in the Sun Valley, Ketchum and Hailey area, HarvestFest offers locals and visitors an opportunity to sample a variety of farm-fresh seasonal foods prepared by Hailey’s top chefs.

This year’s HarvestFest will kick off with a Local Food Fair & Market outside of Wood River Sustainability Center (308 S. River Street in Hailey) from 3 to 5pm. Free and open to the public, it will feature locally made foods and products and highlight the work of local non-profits. During the food fair, HarvestFest ticket holders are invited to sample appetizers prepared by local chefs and wines from top Idaho vineyards.

From 5 to 7pm, the HarvestFest Restaurant Walk ($45 for adults; free for kids age 10 and under) includes 10 2-ounce “tastes” from 14 participating Hailey restaurants, two beer/wine tickets (ID required) and one raffle ticket. Ticket holders will restaurant hop along Hailey’s Main Street corridor to savor flavorful tastes of locally grown goodness.

This year’s participating restaurants include: CK’s Real Food, daVinci’s, Dang’s Thai Cuisine, diVine, Hailey Fire Department, Hank and Sylvie’s, International Cowboy Cocina, Jersey Girl, KB’s, Lago Azul, The Red Shoe, Sawtooth Brewery, Smokey Bone BBQ, A Taste of Thai, and Wood River Sustainability Center.

New this year, the Kids’ Corral (5-8pm at Wood River Sustainability Center), organized by Syringa Mountain School, will offer fun activities and snacks for children ages 2 to 12 while their parents enjoy their gourmet excursion and some time to dance. Cost is $20 per child.

Following the Restaurant Walk, HarvestFest goers are invited back to Wood River Sustainability Center for dessert and a street party. Hand-crafted desserts and fresh-brewed coffee will be provided by Atkinsons’ Market, Toni’s Sun Valley Ice Cream, Black Owl Coffee, The Coffee House and Hailey Coffee Company.

Free and open to the public, the HarvestFest Street Party (7-10pm at Wood River Sustainability Center) will include live music from The Heaters. Wine, beer, and handcrafted cocktails from Roadbars will be available for purchase.

HarvestFest has sold out in previous years, so get your tickets today! All proceeds support Local Food Alliance’s efforts to create a resilient local and regional food system for the Wood River Valley.
