Calling all aspiring young chefs! On Sunday, June 9, from 12 to 4pm, explore the world of Italian pastas and chocolate desserts at the Sun Valley Culinary Institute (SVCI)'s inaugural Junior Chef Cooking Class for ages 11 to 14. Learn from accomplished chefs including SVCI's Chef Chris Koetke, and the head chefs of Chobani Yogurt and The Hershey Co. Recipes will feature local ingredients including Hillside Grain fresh-milled flour, asparagus and herbs from Kraay's Market & Garden, and local cheese for fillings. Recommended contribution of $75. Space is limited to 20 students, so pre-registration for this program is required.
